GEROfit® REX prevents the permeation of pollutants through the pipe wall. It thus permanently protects the drinking water to be transported. It is suitable for installation in contaminated soils and offers permanent protection against the risk of contamination. Predestined for installation in flooded areas.

When laying in a sand bed, the excavated material must be replaced with a sand bedding in accordance with DIN EN 805. Restrictions on the grain sizes of the bedding material must be observed.
Without sand bedding
Due to the verification by an independent testing institute, the installation is possible without a sand bed. This eliminates the additional expense of replacing the excavation with a sand bedding in accordance with DIN EN 805 (transport, landfill).
Ploughing
In the ploughing method, the soil is displaced by a plough blade and the pipeline is placed on the bottom of the soil.
Milling
In the milling process, a pipe trench is cut into the subsoil by machine and the pipeline is laid on the bottom of the trench.
Pipe bursting
Static pipe bursting is the renewal of the old pipeline along the same of the old pipe route, which is shattered by the bursting head and the remaining fragments are pressed into the surrounding soil.
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
The new installation by HDD is usually carried out in three successive work steps. With the continuous pilot borehole, which is controlled by positioning the route is determined. This is followed by the widening of the borehole and the pulling in of the pipe string.
Relining
In the case of relining with annular space, the new pipe string with a smaller cross-section is pulled into the cleaned old pipeline using a pull-in device.
Soil Displacement Method
In the soil displacement method, a pneumatically operated displacement hammer, a so-called "rocket", is used to excavate an underground cavity. The new pipeline is then pulled into it.
