In focus: The protection of energy and power cables
The energy transition is one of the greatest infrastructural challenges of our time. In addition to a solid protection of the power supply with regenerative energy, the protection of power grids against external influences is also an important focus for this asset. Gerodur recognised this challenge at an early stage and was the first PE pipe manufacturer to launch the temperature-stable EMDS protection pipe of the high-performance class LHT® in 2005. Since then, we have been pioneering national and international underground cable projects with our experience.
